Teaching
Benjamin is an experienced teacher of both practical and academic music. He has taught lute and basso continuo in several French conservatories, and has a permanent post at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental de Pantin and also at L’Ode - Conservatoire de Vanves. He has also maintained a private lute and continuo studio in Paris since 2006.
Benjamin is an external examiner for the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur, the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Versailles, and also for the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
With regards academic teaching, he was the French Baroque Tutor at both Worcester and Pembroke Colleges (University of Oxford) from 2006 through 2008.
